Before You Begin
So why try combination knitting?
- For Continental knitters, it's physically easier to form purl stitches with less hand motion.
- It can effect your gauge and allow you to get more stitches and rows per inch.
- It can help you firm up ribbing without having to change your needle size.
- It can eliminate wide purl stitches that happen after a knit stitch.
MaterialsThanks to Skacel for providing the HiKoo Sueño Worsted yarn used in this tutorial. It is available locally at many yarn shops and online at Makers' Mercantile.
