When it comes to sock knitting, it's no secret that I'm a big fan of shadow wrapped short row heels and toes. I love them because creating the special turning stitch, known as the twin stitch, is fairly simple to understand.
Thanks to Skacel for providing the yarn and needles used in this tutorial. These products are available locally at many yarn shops and online at Makers' Mercantile.
Before You Begin
Ultimately, a twin stitch is a stitch where two loops, or twin loops, emerge from the same lower stitch. Likewise, a triplet stitch is a stitch where three loops are coming out of the same lower stitch.
