Why knit just one sock when you can knit both socks at the same time? Two at a time (2aaT) socks can be worked on either one long circular needle (magic loop method) or two circular needles.
Thanks to Skacel for providing the yarn and needles used in this tutorial. These products are available locally at many yarn shops and online at Makers' Mercantile.
Before You Begin
There are two advantages to knitting your socks 2aaT. First, you finish both socks at the same time. Second, knitting both socks at the same time ensures that they are exactly the same length. However, there is a downside. If you make a mistake on one sock, you likely make the same mistake on the other and have twice as many stitches to tink, or un-knit.
