Solacer Wrap MKAL

The Solacer Wrap MKAL, hosted by Makers' Mercantile and designed by The Chilly Dog, is a meditative stitching project beginning July 31, 2020.
I'm so excited to be collaborating once again, with my friends from Makers' Mercantile to bring you a new knit along, and this time it's a mystery knit along!

Solacer Wrap MKAL

The Pattern

The Solacer Wrap is a rectangular wrap with some serious "WOW!" factor, but don't let that intimidate you. I intentionally designed the project to be an evenly paced, relaxing, 32-day stitch meditation.

The pattern has a lot of recognizable, repeated visual elements that play off each other so you won’t be overwhelmed by learning new things as you knit. However, there’s enough complexity to redirect your mind to the task at hand.

The Materials

  • 3 hanks of Popcycle by HiKoo yarn
  • 20" long addi Natura Bamboo fixed circular size US 4 (3.50 mm)
  • 5 stitch markers
You can order materials at Makers' Mercantile.

The Timeline

Each week, the Solacer Wrap MKAL pattern file will be updated to include the following sections:

Friday, July 31, 2020 – Sections 1 and 2 are released
Monday, August 3 – Section 3
Monday, August 10 – Section 4
Monday, August 17 – Section 5
Monday, August 24 – The complete pattern file is released, and photography is updated on the pattern file.

The Conversation

During the knit along you can share your project progress in the Makers' Mercantile Solacer Wrap MKAL discussion on Ravelry and on social media using the following hashtags:
