I'm so happy to be collaborating once again with my friends at Makers' Mercantile to bring you a new mystery knit along (MKAL) project.
It's All Right MKAL
The Pattern
The It's All Right Möbius is a highly versatile piece that can be worn as a long cowl or as a shawl.
Although a Möbius is not difficult to knit, it is a mysterious shape for knitters because there is only one side, the right side, and one edge, the bound off edge. It's basically a three dimensional figure eight. (Like so many things in knitting, it sounds much more complicated than it actually is.)
You'll need to set aside a few uninterrupted minutes to cast on and knit the first round, after that it's all just knit and purls in easy to memorize, 10-stitch repeats worked around very long rounds. Gradually your stitches will reveal a stunning geometric design with no wrong side.
The Materials
- 2 hanks of Silbermond by Zitron (main color)
- 1 ball of Herbstwind by Zitron (accent color)
- 60-inch long addi Turbo circular needle US size 6 (4.0 mm)
- 1 stitch marker
If you prefer to use your own materials for the project, the It's All Right MKAL pattern is available for purchase on Ravelry.
