It doesn't matter where I've been or how long I've been away, something happens when I make the final turn onto my street. I'm suddenly filled with a sense of welcoming calm knowing that I'm almost home. As an introvert, home is my refuge. It's a simple, quiet place where I can work, breathe and just exist without all the distractions and noise of the world.

While I was walking around the neighborhood one day, I noticed how the driveways crossed over the verdant, liminal space between the road (the outer world) and each of the homes (the inner world). However, I must admit I was so focused on the big picture that I didn't notice all of the squirrels plonking around until later when I was deciding how to interpret the scene on my loom.
