The invisible ribbed bind off is a neat way to finish 1 x 1, or k1, p1 ribbing. It creates a flexible edge that looks like the ribbing flows continuously from one side of the fabric to the other making it a good choice for sock and mitten cuffs as well as sweater cuffs and collars.
Before You Begin
The invisible ribbed bind off is a sewn bind off that is closely related to grafting. The edge is tubular instead of linear like bind offs where one stitch is passed over another.
