Help! How do I get support?

Pack Members with questions about a specific lesson or article on the site can leave us a note in the Pack Member Chat and we will respond as soon as possible.

If you are having problems with the site, notice any broken links or just need to get in touch, contact our support team.

We love collaborations! Industry professionals and knitting/fiber arts guilds may submit proposals or request information about professional design services, technical editing, teaching events, speaking opportunities, etc.

Do companies pay you to use their products?

Nope. We just use the products we like. However, we build relationships with trusted collaborative partners , who offer products we love and they generously provide us with yarn, needle and notion support.

What is the difference between subscribing and becoming a member?

When you subscribe for news we will send you our semi-monthly Highlights + Happenings updates with site and pattern shop news.

When you Join the Pack, you can choose between a Basic and Plus membership.

Basic Pack Members receive:

  • our semi-monthly Highlights + Happenings e-newsletter
  • ad-free access to our entire Learning Library and Journal
  • priority support by leaving a note in the Pack Member Chat on any post

Pack+ Member receive the basic benefits plus:

  • free patterns from our shop
  • invitations to our virtual, monthly meet-up
  • occasional e-notifications about exclusive Membership Perks

Who handles my credit card payments?

Your payment information is securely processed by Stripe. We never see, or have access to your credit card information.

How do I change my membership period, tier, e-mail address or credit card information?

Simply sign-in to your account and make the desired changes.

When I login, I see a tiny picture in the corner of the screen. Where did it come from, and how can I change it?

We use the globally recognized Gravatar system for member profile images. Head over to Gravatar to create or update your member avatar. This image will also display on any other Gravatar-enabled website.

What happens when my monthly membership expires

Monthly memberships auto-renew until you cancel your membership. You will NOT receive reminder emails about your membership renewal.

You can sign-in to your account to change your billing period, membership tier or cancel your membership.

What happens when my annual membership expires?

You will receive a reminder email about a month before your annual membership expires and auto-renews.

You can sign-in to your account to change your billing period, membership tier or cancel your membership.

When my membership auto-renews, how much will I be charged?

Nobody likes surprise rate hikes! Even if we raise our membership prices, your membership will auto-renew at the interval (monthly or annually) and price you agreed to when you joined your current membership tier (Basic or Plus).

How do I cancel my Membership?

You can cancel at any time by logging into your account and tapping the "cancel" button.

Canceling means your membership won't auto-renew. However, you will still have access to all of your membership privileges until the end of your current membership period.

If you have any problems, contact member support and we'll get it taken care of. In accordance with our terms, memberships are non-refundable.

Where do I find the patterns I purchased from the pattern shop?

Our membership site and pattern shop are hosted on two different platforms. You can find information about your previous pattern purchases by logging into your customer account on our pattern shop site.
