Jogless Alternating Two Round Stripes

In my opinion, knitting "in the round" is a misnomer. It's especially evident when you knit alternating two round stripes. Your stitches aren't neat stacks of rings, each two rounds tall. Instead, you get a very unsightly jog at the color change.
