Judy's Magic Cast On

Anyone that can create beautiful and useful objects with two sticks and a piece of string understands the magic of knitting and Judy's magic cast on takes it to the next level.

Judy's magic cast on is a double-sided cast on that can be used for many projects that are worked in the round. Stitches are cast on to two parallel needles alternating stitches between the first and second needle. You will need either two DPNs (double pointed needles) or a set of circular needles to cast on.

This cast on method can be used when you are knitting things like toe up socks, top down mittens and hats or bags that are worked from the bottom up. The beauty of this cast on is that it neatly blends in to your knitting.
