Reverse Knitting

Conventionally, most knitters are taught to work their stitches from right to left. However, did you know that stitches can also be worked from left to right? This technique goes by many names such as reverse knitting, mirror knitting and backwards knitting.

Some knitters consider reverse knitting to be a novelty skill. Although it does have some practical applications, you could easily knit your entire life without ever learning how to knit from right to left. There are a few situations when being able to knit in reverse could make your projects a little easier, primarily whenever you don't want to turn your work over at the end of a row.
