The Unforgettable Kitchener Stitch
The Kitchener stitch is used to seamlessly graft live (on your needles) stitches together in knitting. It's often used to close the toes of socks knit from the top down. Even though it is a common technique, all to often we forget how to execute it. Should the first stitch be worked knitwise or purlwise?
