Wrong Side Rectangles

Entrelac rectangles created by picking up stitches when the wrong side is facing you.

In entrelac, when you are working a row of rectangles and the stitches for those rectangles are picked up with the wrong side (WS) of your work facing, they are called WS rectangles. WS rectangles can be worked in a variety of different stitch patterns.

Some knitters think picking up stitches is an intimidating task. However, if you look for landmarks in your knitting and use your left needle to help with the task, it becomes a skill that is quickly mastered.
